1909年,L’Oréal’ 的起源: 革命性的髮色和富有遠見的創辦人  

L’Oréal在1909年創立,源於化學家Eugène Schueller的靈機一動。女性開始接受較為男性化的潮流,希望有短金髮。他為一個染髮配方申請了專利,這與當時市場的產品截然不同,可以安全地使用。而染髮劑至此在未來數十年成為了公司的重點。

1960至1970年:以解放推動的身份帶來創新

在60年代,碧姬芭鐸(Brigitte Bardot)讓長髮成為了潮流,展現性感的野性魅力,或呈現整齊的髮髻。公司在Dalle的帶領下緊跟潮流,設計了符合女性需求的產品,同時確保使用上的安全。家用染髮品牌Préférence在1970年代推出,而品牌聞名全球的標語「因為我值得」更成為了轉捩點。這是首個突顯自信重要性的廣告訊息。
